TAMBOPATA RESERVE 8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS

We are pleased to offer you an exciting jungle expedition to the interior of Peru, in the tropical rainforest called Tambopata Reserve, in the edge of Amazon basin. This trip has all the ingredients to be a travel experience of a lifetime.

DAY 1:
Our expedition starts in the town of Puerto Maldonado (from Lima or Cusco), on the shores of Madre de Dios River. A vehicle will takes us from the airport to the port, where we take our boat. . From this part we leave behind the last sights of pioneer farmers and gold pan settlers to enter the magic and mysterious world of the tropical rainforest.

DAY 2-3:
As we leave the last traces of civilization, we enter to the pristine rainforest using the river as a highway, we´ll float down camping on sandy beaches along the way where we will have chance to encounter wildlife.

DAY 4-5:
Arrive to the reserve and establish our campsite. During this two days we can see many kinds of mammals, reptiles, insects and birds, besides an incredible variety of flora.

DAY 6-7: Back to Puerto Maldonado
